Edinburgh wedding photographer
HEY!
I'm Graeme. I'm a wedding photographer based in Fife who has been taking photos of folk having the best day of their life for the past 5 years.
I have a simple approach to wedding photography and that is to keep everything as stress and hassle free as possible for you on your wedding day. You should be focussed on soaking everything up and having the best day of your life while I'm capturing all the beautiful moments in between. This way your photographs tell the story of your day and reflect you.
I'm so lucky to be based where I am, I might be biased but I honestly feel Fife has the highest concentration of amazing wedding venues in Scotland, which I'm lucky enough to photograph regularly. I've shot weddings at Falside Mill, Kinkell Byre, The Cow Shed, The Rhynd, Cambo House and Pratis Barns and I'm always happy to return to each one.
I approach weddings in a balanced way. The most important consideration for me is that you guys have the best day that you can. A lot of my time is spent taking a candid, documentary approach which captures the atmosphere and provides an honest version of your day as it happened. I pair this with very short couple portrait sessions throughout the day, usually briefly during the drinks reception then again later on in the day during golden hour. A lot of my couples give the feedback that they felt so comfortable around the camera, and that's really important to me - a lot of that is down to the fact that I don't want to interfere too much in the day and mainly want to just document you having the best day of your life, no one wants to be away for hours while you're missing everything that's going on. With that said, my wedding photography is also characterised by capturing a few artistic, iconic portraits of the two of you, however again, this should be a chilled out experience and I work efficiently to make sure this doesn't take you away from the party for long.
I'd describe my wedding photography as bright, colourful and relaxed, however check out my portfolio to see what I'm all about.
