Elsick House wedding
It was an absolute joy to spend the day celebrating Kerry and Dean's wedding with their family and friends. This was my first time at Elsick House and I was immediately blown away by the house, gardens and surrounding area. Morning preparations were taking place in the main house when I arrived and despite it being possibly the warmest day of the year the atmosphere was very chilled. The ceremony was held in Elsick House's walled garden with Kerry walking down the rose arch meeting Dean and their dog Fred at the end of the aisle. The ceremony was beautifully conducted by Tegan Elder under what felt like a million degree heat from the sun.
The grounds of Elsick were perfectly suited for a very relaxed drinks deception with music and sax provided by Rich Gordon (who was also the piper for the day too, a very talented guy). It was then on to the marquee, decorated with floral arrangements by the amazing Kim Dalglish for the speeches and meal. To say I was buzzing that the cake was provided by Artisana Brownies was an understatement.
The evening until the dancing was again very relaxed as everyone soaked up the last of the evening sun before filling the dancefloor when Abbey Road got started.
We totally lucked out with golden hour having a wander just 2 minutes from the venue to get some nice sunset portraits.
It was brilliant to be joined on the day by Tony from KLS Wedding Films whos film of the day is mind blowing, if you are looking for a videographer I seriously recommend checking his stuff out.
I honestly had an absolute blast at this one, it was such a brilliant day from start to finish.
