Gilmerton House Wedding Photography

Where to start with this one. This wedding was absolutely insane!

Toni and Kev had organised their wedding all the way from Sydney and if that doesn't sound stressful enough they also had to change wedding venue 2 weeks before their wedding date. Luckily they chose very wisely and went with Gilmerton House. It was my first trip to the venue, just a short drive from Edinburgh and it is absolutely stunning! All the rooms are so grand and oozing with class and the grounds are also amazing. It's exclusive use and sleeps numerous guests so they made a right weekend of it.

Toni and Kev were the dream couple, super chilled and totally up for anything on the day and it was a pleasure to get to spend their day with them, their families and friends.

I was joined on the day by Adam at Inspire Video who was great to work alongside. Morning preparations were relaxed with Hair By Georgia Peters, Emma Motion Makeup and Eren Saygilier Makeup. Toni's dress was Pronovias and shoes Harlo. All floristry was supplied by Occasions of Eyemouth Flowers. The ceremony was beautifully conducted by Niki Smith and piped in by The Pickled Piper. Amy Hawthorn sang Toni down the aisle and during the ceremony, The Folk Soul Bros played throughout the drinks reception and the evening reception band was the brilliant The Stereo Beats.

One of the highlights of the day was a a full troop of Irish dancers by Irish Dance Village which Toni arranged as a surprise for Kev that performed before the meal.

Like I said, the wedding was insane! Absolutely brilliant day and thanks for having me along Toni and Kev.
